Chevy can’t fix their own equipment!!!

On January 19, 2011, my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4x4, suddenly threw a check engine light while I was driving about 60 mph on the freeway and then a message popped up "Reduction in engine power." Within seconds my speed dropped to 10 miles and hour and even with the pedal floored I could not get any speed or power to move out of the way of oncoming traffic. I came very close to being hit from behind. I called the champion Chevy dealership here in Corpus Christi, Texas and scheduled an appointment to take my truck in on Wednesday Jan. 20. I was told the following day that the problem was caused by an emissions vent solenoid and that my extended warranty would not cover the part, so I had to pay $400.00 for the repair. I picked my truck up Thursday evening, Jan 21, and it broke down the very next morning-same issue. I took it straight back to the dealership and was told they could not even look at it til the following Monday, Jan. 24, and to bring it back then. I returned it to the dealership on Jan, 24th and again they had it for 3 days. I was contacted by the dealership on Wednesday the 26th, and told they could not find a problem, they figured they must have "knocked a wire loose," so they checked all the connections and sent me on my way again. On Monday February 14th, my truck broke down for the 3rd time, same issue! I took the truck back to them and after another 3 days they decided it was the clamps on the throttle body, so they soldered the connections and sent me home with my truck on the 16th. On Thursday March 11th, my truck broke down again-Same Issue, for the 4th time! Once again it went back to the dealership. This time they informed me they would be replacing the throttle body and wiring, but even though my warranty would cover it, I still had to pay the deductible. I picked my truck up on Monday evening, March 14th. On Thursday, March 17th, my truck broke down for the 5th time-same issue again. Took it back to the dealership and this time they informed me it was the positive battery connection on my battery, They said they cleaned the connection and tightened it back up, I picked my truck up from them on Saturday, May 19th. I have been on the phone with the so called GM corporate customer service, and they were no help at all! In fact today I was told by their district specialist that they will not refund my money from the solenoid they replaced on the first visit because according to the local service department manager, HE informed my the first time that the solenoid was not going to fix the engine problem, that it was for another issue! When I told them I wanted to see the paperwork where that was supposedly discussed, I was informed that they didn't have it. So basically they took the word of their useless *** of a service manager over mine and didn't even need paperwork to prove his claims. I have filed complaints with the National Highway Traffic Safety Assc. and I have found alot of people on line having the same problems. In fact the dealership here had another truck in the shop at the same time as mine that was back for its 3rd visit for the same problem as mine. So obviously they could not fix his either! Chevy has proven to me beyond a doubt that they care nothing about their customers or their safety. I have come close 3 times now to being hit when my engine decides to cut power. Maybe after my kids and I are injured or killed due to their faulty vehicles, they will finally take notice. I'm in my 40's and this is the 8th Chevy truck Ive owned. It will however be my last and I have made it my goal to warn as many people as I can.
