Cannot get Cadillac to repair a hood on my brand new car

I purchased a new XT4 and noticed a paint repair on my hood. I was treated badly when I took it back to the dealer where I purchased. I called Cadillac and requested to go to another dealer. Went to another dealer and a month later I am still no further along than when I started. Cadillac stated they can't assist me until a dealer replies back to them on this case. I am at the mercy of everyone else. What happened to Customer Service. Clearly this is not something that I did. I work in Finance not Auto Body. I just would like for my new vehicle to be fixed correctly.
