I paid off a credit card so I could have use of the entire balance. However after doing so the card was blocked. When I asked why I was told that because I paid it with a non-BBVA bank account it would be 7-10 business days before the card could be unblocked. They were real quick to take the money from my Chase account but would let me have the use of it now. User's recommendation: Do not deal with BBVA on credit cards. They will not let you have use of your money while they use it.
