Avoid Co-Pay Scam

A few days ago, I filled a prescription at a local pharmacy. The clerk handed me the bottle and said $34 please. Knowing the pills retail for $14, I asked about the price. She explained “you have insurance”. I returned the bottle, transferred the prescription but denied I had health insurance. Paid $14 and went home with my medication.
