$700 For Hotel Mints & ***

1

I attended the free workshop with a friend. We knew that the "free" part would probably be something to get people to attend for their benefit. Which, it was since they were selling the 3 day seminar for a price of $701 (with tax). We were really interested with all the real estate investment strategies they were pitching at the free seminar. So, we fell for the trap and made a check for $701 to attend the 3 day seminar 196 miles away from our home. The first day of the 3 day seminar, we were welcomed and were introduced to the team manager, Dan, who used to study religion before joining the LE team. I've read other past reviews that they use a lot of "former pastors" and "church" stories to probably brainwash you to think they are good people. Also, we were told not to network with others. We were introduced to Lauri. I think I know more about her personal life than I do my own. The first day we learned about how to change our mindset to "do it". Along with all her travel stories, kids' life stories, and that she would be talking about 14 strategies in the following 2 days. So, we returned the next day. Day 2 was more of Lauri's personal stories in the morning. Why did we need to know about her writing a freaking book about Celtic fiction? Oh right, probably to sell that too. Then we went through the Elite Training Course Catalog. That's when we figured out that we paid $700 to hear Lauri brag about her "rich" lifestyle and her trying to sell the advance classes. The advance classes were not just another $700, but $19,000 or MORE. What did they tell us to do on the first night? See how much our credit card limit was and to expand it. Why? So the following day, they were ready to rip us off. Some poor older couples signed up. So there we go, that's how they become "rich" by praying on the desperate individuals who they successfully brainwashed. After lunch, Lauri talked about the wholesaling strategy for about 30 minutes. Then switched back to tell us that her cats have FDA passports. After day 2, we went back to the hotel to look up reviews. We watched YouTube videos and read different websites containing reviews that were almost scripted to what we were witnessing and that's when we decided to skip the last day. I had contact information with a fellow attendee and she said what we were exactly expecting. They skimmed over strategies and said they will not learn these strategies in depth unless they attend the advanced classes for a low price of $19,000 if you sign up that day. But if you want a mentor, it was about $50,000. Because who wouldn't want someone to hold their hand while they taught you real estate strategies? To summarize, we paid $700 (not including gas, hotel, or food) for an "education" seminar only to be told we would not be "educated" at that seminar. Scam.
