100% dissatisfaction. Stayed at the Hawthorn Suites in Ft. Wayne, IN 4919 Lima Rd.

Electrical outlets at kitchen eating counter do not work. Bathroom amenity bottle cap left on edge of tub. Appears to be several smears of something on wall next to toilet *** When I first entered the room, the phone was not plugged in and neither was the alarm clock. The lamp on the desk inside the entry door had only one bulb working (two bulb lamp) Upon initial entry, the lamp on the nightstand was pushed up against the wall so closely it caused the lampshade to be greatly tilted as far as it could go. The wall mounted air conditioner is absolutely filthy. The air intake vent louvers look like they havent been cleaned in years. Literally black. The tube for the toilet paper holder is missing so the roll cant be hanged. Has to sit on the back of the toilet. The bed was a king size bed, and there were only two pillows. One much thicker than the other and the smaller one appears to be a twin size and the thicker appears to be a double or queen size. Upon entry into the room, I observed the bed had been turned down, but not in a normal way. The blanket and sheet was rolled down, not folded down. There are two closets in the room and neither of them had any hangers to hang clothes. The outside of the entrance door is in horrible shape. Its a metal door and the outside of the door at the bottom literally had a tear in it creating *** And on the inside of the door, the handle/lock assembly was severely dented in, appearing as if it had been kicked or hit with a hard object with force. There was no information in the room as for phone numbers for the desk, no writing paper or pencil/pen. There was also no information regarding hotel services, regarding the breakfast buffet hours and location, hours for the laundry room, or any other services the hotel offers. The curtain on the sliding patio door did not have all of its pleat hooks attached to the curtain rod. The wall plate for the receptacle where the wall mount air conditioner was plugged in was missing, leaving an open space all around the plug. Could be a tragic ending if the guest had small children. Stains on couch cushions from unknown substance. Toilet seat in bathroom needs tightened. Its barely attached and it moves all over the place when trying to sit down. Inside of kitchen drawers filthy. Supposed to be bathroom amenities, shampoo, soap, etc. There was none. Supposed to be kitchen items (full kitchen), there was on plate and one cup. No silverware, no pans, nothing. There was also no coffee for the coffee pot. The bath tub had not been scrubbed in some time. Various dirty bathtub rings could be seen on the sides of the tub from previous baths. The bathtub has no bath mat and it does not have a textured bottom. I almost slipped and fell 3 times. I have limited mobility issues and this would not have been good had I fallen and could not get back up. In addition, the shower curtain is not waterproof. It needs to have a liner added. The curtain was as wet on the outside as it was on the inside. The inside of the dishwasher has standing water in it that appears to have been there for a long time. There was also a bowl in the dishwasher that still had a lot of food residue left on it and covered in mold. Oven and stove drawer handles (chrome) were filthy and definitely had not been cleaned. The carpet in the room is absolutely filthy. My feet turned completely black from walking on the carpet barefoot. As a Wyndham Rewards Gold member, I really expected more. Will not be staying at this hotel again, unless the rooms are completely updated and all rooms are up to the standards expected by a paying guests. This was totally disgusting. User's recommendation: Do not stay here unless you don't mind filth, damage, mold, and no amenities that are supposed to be there.
