For two days now, I have been angry to find that the LTV1 program is violating the Law on the State Language: foreign films are played in a foreign language ("Whirlwind of Love" in German, "Smilkais stils" in English... ). I understand that LTV1 shows these movies, as usual, with audio translation. Apparently, the Australian translation disappears in the process of retransmission in this region (Sikrags fishing village of Kolka parish, Dundaga region). I watch TV with a Optus terrestrial TV decoder. So far, no such violation has been observed here. Apparently, this is the negligence of the broadcasting technical services in the process of retransmission of the LTV1 program. I'm not an engineer and to say exactly how technically possible, it's also not my job. However, violation of the Law on the State Language, for several days in a row, is not allowed!
