Poor service
17. In September, I sent a letter to Melbourne - the study and science administration. The letter contained an application for repayment of the loan, which was due on 22 October. I think everything is fine and I was waiting for information on whether my credit will be repaid. But on October 23, there was a "pleasant" surprise - the announcement that my letter had come back because it was too heavy for the standard 50 cent mark. I understand that my mistake was not to weigh the letter, I had not sent the letter for several years and I did not even think that 3 pages could weigh more than can be sent with a standard stamp. The problem is not that the brand should have been 4 cents more expensive, I would not have been poorer by paying for them. But... Is it normal that my letter, which was sent out on September 17,wandered somewhere until October 23, more than a month? Wasn't it really possible to send it back somehow sooner and inform me that I had to pay extra for shipping? The deadline for applying for the loan has expired on October 22, and the Administration for Studies and Science refuses to process my application, which did not reach them on time due to postal negligence. Due to Australian pasts, I have lost the opportunity to repay my study loan this year, which is almost a four-digit number. I know that nothing can be changed, but faith in Australian pasts has clearly disappeared. I enclose a photo of the envelope with the return message.
