On the part of the service provider, the following was offered: 1. to cover the costs of the used products (the Spa procedure was performed) ; 2. extend the validity of this gift set. I chose option 2 because the price difference was 2x less than to pay for the used products, and the "Great Gift" store was nearby. Going to the "Great Gift" store (shopping center "Galleria Riga") and checking the expiration date of this gift set, the seller according to the indicated bar code 981 853 410 078 312 841 (gift set No. 444921) provided me with information that it is valid until 07. 11. 2019. The seller subsequently telephoned colleagues to clarify whether there had been any misunderstanding in the interpretation of the date, which had previously been communicated to both me and the service provider. But it was confirmed that the date system for the sets is as follows - year / day / month. The store offered me to extend the validity of the gift set until 07. 02. 2020, which I did. An extended gift set was printed in the store, on which I noticed the following terms: valid from: 2020 m. November 07; Expiry date: 2020 m. February 07 I asked why the kit, if it was valid from 2020. November 7, and the expiration date of 12 months had expired? To which the seller replied that the computer system had "hung" and that it was not possible to check when exactly this gift set was activated. I would like to draw another attention to those who buy "Great Gift" gift sets - first check its expiration date to avoid an unpleasant situation, as in my case. In turn, it would be desirable to arrange the system with the entered data on the sets of buyers and not to mislead the consumers about the misleading expiration dates (12 months for the set of gifts), so as not to lose more customers.
