Warranty
A broken phone was returned under warranty. The manager dropped the handset without explaining. A month later, the phone began to "squeak" the microphone, after three the sound disappeared altogether. The warranty service returned the machine with the software replaced. The microphone was not repaired. In a telephone conversation, Zanda R., when asked what was really repaired and why an unrepaired device was returned, was unable to answer in a coherent way and, interrupting himself half-heartedly, dropped the handset.
