Staff attitude
My retired father went to Devonport Hospital due to illness. His ward was right next to a few steps from the nurses' duty station. I called my father several times during the day, but he did not pick up the phone. I thought something bad had happened or the phone had fallen or the sound had been muted. I called the department's contact phone to ask my father to come and ask me to call me back. I received a blunt answer that everything was fine with my father, but they CANNOT comply with SUCH requests. ------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Morality - today hospitals have everything - doctors, nurses, lawyers, psychologists, project managers, economic staff - there is not only one - compassion and tolerance! So I think maybe it's better to have a blank space than a doctor who thinks only about his wallet, manicure and hairstyle. But the people who are - yes - stinky, shabby, memoryless, sleepy in the ward are - the work material - not the people.
