Slipper Exchange

I purchased a pair of slippers from a store in Ann Arbor, MI as a Christmas present. Inconsistent

Service varies. I buy online and wait for shipping which is often delayed. At times my purchases arrive carefully packed with cardboard shoe forms (important with sandals) and some times without. Sandals in particular sometimes appear shopworn. No evidence of wear on the sole but straps appear less than new.
I placed an order online two weeks and everything went fine. Confirmation email stated item would arrive in 3-8 business days. On day eight – still no package so I contacted customer service. Individual was very nice. Nothing else was! I was informed that everything…
If you call the customer service line you will be left on hold for hours (not kidding) if you go into the store they can’t “help” with on line orders. The management staff at the retail level is given no empowerment to support a customers coming back. I received a gift…
