Warranty complaint

Randomly my car starts acting up. The wont go into gear. I tow my car to Subaru of clear lake. Houston tx. They disassbled my car into peices only telling me after the fact that my clutch/transmission would not be covered due to a short shifter when they couldve told me before they began work. I feel...
