Poor Service
Hello! On March 11 of this year, a parcel was sent from Melbourne to the Ligatne post office, Freedom Street 5 (LV-4110). On March 12, I arrived at the post office to see if the shipment had arrived. After the rude, unkind question "and who are you?", I found out that I would receive a text message about the arrival of my shipment. I ask if this post office will send it out? I received a clear answer "yes!". All clear! I'm waiting for a text message, I'm waiting for a message in the mailbox, but nothing. It has been a week since the day of dispatch. So far, I have not received any text message or message in my mailbox. I decided to call the shipper today. I found out that according to the information available to them, the shipment has reached the Ligatne post office on March 12, in the afternoon (a moment after I was at the post office). After this call, I called the information phone of Australian Post, where I received an answer that the item had been delivered on March 12 at the Ligatne Post Office, 5 Liberibas Street. I am dissatisfied with the work of the Ligatne post office. So far, there have been no such incidents. I always received an invitation in the form of a text message in time to come to the post office after the shipment. With the change of postal management, other customers have noticed a number of unpleasant incidents and unkind attitude, and frivolous performance of their work (during the service, a Mexican TV series is broadcast on the screen). A similar, but even more unpleasant case occurred in this section of the passport, when the arrival of the consignment (package) was not announced for 30 days and it was sent back to the addressee without reaching the addressee. And this is also due to non-notification of the arrival of the parcel at the Ligatne post office. I will go to this department tomorrow after my post. Please consider the suitability of the Ligatne mail manager for this job. If the situation does not improve, I intend to contact the media.
