No promise to deliver the package, return it to the sender!

We agreed by phone that the package will be delivered to me on September 16. On September 17, I call and ask why there is no packet. Answer - an error has occurred, the package has already been sent back (meet, to England). Who will pay for the re-delivery? After this question, Itella sends me to the sender, starts talking about some of their contracts. But I have already clarified with the sender that my loss is a little over 5 AUD.
