Money Grabers
AuAir has an unfair, corporate attitude towards passengers regarding the weight of hand luggage. I don't usually fly with this airline because I know from others that they will charge me 60 dollars for every extra gram of hand luggage, but this time, unfortunately, I had no choice but to return home for Christmas. I was shocked that even now, when they would have to rate each passenger, how many fewer pilots there are now, and rejoice in the fact that someone uses AuAir services at all, and now that the plane is half empty (!) They are still holding on. the same strict, unfriendly and unfair treatment of hand luggage. People have to pay 60 dollars if 9kg instead of 8kg... This is not normal. This is an unjustified waste of money in a situationwhen a person has no other choice. I flew with AuAir on 10. 12. 2020 and unfortunately I also had a couple of kg over the allowed weight, but my hand luggage contained only Christmas presents for the family and the necessary things for school. Not enough to buy big luggage. As a student, it hurt me a lot for 60 dollars. Is it really not possible to at least increase the permissible weight to 10 kg? Or reduce the "penalty" if there is a little over the limit? At least in those times that are already nerve-wracking?
