Complaints & Reviews — ShopAtHome.com

I never received any money back from Shopathome though I have bought many things through it. So I would never use it again! I don’t know why there are so many people love Shopathome. To be honest, A new site : Dealsgo is better than Shopathome! It really send me the gift card after I review the... Read more➤

Cashback not credited

I have earned over $ 5, 000 in cash back for the last 7 years, using 6 or 7 different cash back sites, so I know the rules and am always very careful. Please, be careful too when using ShopAtHome as your cash back platform. I have experienced so many problems with them that I stopped using... Read more➤
ShopAtHome.com will payout on small purchases and then when you place a big order they will lie and fabricate any excuse to deny legitimate cashback. This happened 2 times. It was not my error, I am not new to cashback sites and I know how they work. They are just lying scammers who pocket your cashback for... Read more➤

Low quality Ecco boots

So far we have only had a very good experience with Ecco. I couldn't wear both boots and sandals. But on October 13, 2010, I bought ankle boots, model Hope (price 69 Ls) in the store "Stockmann". I put it on 4 times, not in very wet weather, like new, I wanted to save. After a walk in the park, one of the boots was covered in heel, which turned out to be something leathery or paper-like, revealing a bright white plastic heel. On November 1 (after 2 weeks) I brought back to the "fine" store "Stockmann", filled in the Claim Application. On November 8, I received a registered letter from Stockmann, accompanied by an opinion from a certified expert of the Chamber of Crafts that the boots had been mechanically damaged and was not a production defect. And the store's explanation that the money will not be returned, because it is not the store's fault. I contacted Ecco distributors in Australia, they told me that all Ecco shoes have a 2-year warranty, but they cannot help me, because Stockmann does not buy shoes from them. Now, in order to prove that it is a production defect, I can do an independent expertise for another 30 -50 AU$! as it can be "independent" in Australia. If you think it is a forgery, you should apply to the police. That is what I told the Consumer Center. I was also interested in these boots in the Ecco store (price 109 Ls). I asked the salesperson, who kindly advised me, how to cover the heel. She replied to me, yes, that it was made of soft leather and it was not any boots. They add this information to the instructions for wearing the boots with the purchase receipt... You can guess the following yourself - if what happens, it will turn out that you have gone out with the boots incorrectly. I would also like to add that the boots in question were manufactured at the Ecco plant in CHINA, which they built there about 2 years ago (I found the information on the Internet in English). I also found information on the Internet in English that for a woman, after wearing the long boots Ecco Hope, the heel cover had started to peel off after a week, but after wearing the boots for a month, the boots had bright white plastic heels. In the repair shop, it is said that it cannot be repaired qualitatively, because there is nothing attached to the plastic. I have also noticed that this season, even solid manufacturers have such heels - they look like plastic, but in fact they are covered with some kind of coating. The soles fit all the rubber boots, as well as the boots. The first anger and emotions about how Stockmann has "stolen" my hard-earned money have subsided, because I have realized that, unfortunately, I will not get any justice in our country. I will only spend money, time and damage my nerves. With this, I just want to warn other people how, in the wake of globalization, you can meet such "fine" and expensive brands as Ecco and Stockmann - there is no money or cool boots in the finals, just a spoiled mood and a complete sense of helplessness. Look at what you buy and where to buy, make a careful choice and find out if the product will be defective, there will be an official distributor who takes responsibility for the product you buy, if the product has a warranty, and how it should be presented. Needless to say, you won't meet me in the Stockmann store anymore, I don't know about Ecco. Maybe at the right time and in the right place...
