Refused to sell a drug prescribed to an oncology patient
4. 09. 2020. Around 19:00 Melbourne, Uptown Freedom gatve 430 Meness pharmacy, we encountered an unpleasant situation. We were refused the sale of a medicine that had been prescribed to my mother, who is disabled. Group 2 due to oncology stage 3 with metastases. We were told that the doctor had written a prescription that the drug could be removed only by the mother herself. Calling a doctor, she said the drug could be removed by anyone because she herself could not go after radiation and chemistry to her bad sleep all the time.
