Broken remote

My remote fell in a glass of water and stopped working. I called customer service and the lady was very polite and helpful. I received my new remote yesterday and Im very pleased. Improper assembly, no replacement part available from U.S. plant

When I tried to reverse the door hinge on a 7 bottle NewAir wine fridge, one of the screws on the bottom door axis assembly (i.e. hinge pin) was overtorqued during assembly and the head stripped during the factory directed reversal process.
