Wedding Cake
Since I always liked Kukotava, I turned to this company to order a wedding cake for my wedding day in May. First, I sent pictures electronically and told me my wishes. A week ago we said everything and agreed that today I would come to the sample tasting. When I saw the "sample", to put it mildly, I was disappointed. The cake looked very poor (picture attached), even the cakes in the showcase on the spot looked much better. Given the small size and appearance of the cake, the pre-announced price of 3 AUD per piece seems more than unacceptable. When I said that I should think about decorating the edges and improving the situation, because at the moment the cake does not look like anything, the employee called the confectioners, because she could not recommend anything herself (only said that she could cover with mastic,but it will be a completely different price, although I said from the beginning that I do not want glazed, sugary, stiff cakes). The confectioner was absolutely unprofessional and without any signs of intelligence respecting the clients. The only thing she could suggest was coconut chips (which is, I'm sorry, a complete oldschool), and then I asked myself to tell me how they should decorate the cakes. When I answered that I am not a fan of cakes and I am not very aware of the possible decoration materials, the confectioner answered me that you see, you just told me that you don't like anything at all! And that there are brides, that they clearly know what they want and are already coming with their pictures (it's nothing that I had both sent the pictures and brought them in print at the previous meeting and left them to the employee... ), and we said,that the cake should be beautifully decorated with berries and flowers. Needless to say, I just got up and walked away because I hadn't met such unprofessional people in a long time. The order-taking employee did not take part in the conversation at all at the end, as she had borrowed from another employee and did not look very interested in finding out the customer's wishes (1 standard option was initially offered - berry cake), which tasted good but looked miserable.. I don't recommend choosing this place for attitude, quality, or price, especially if you're expecting an important event.
