New pair terrible

My first pair were perfect lasted 2 years. Had A new pair from Ottawa birthday gift. Shin splints sore arches worst shoe ever.Would like A pair that are mens size 7 to replace these garbage ones.
I owned 4 pair of Merrill hiking shoes between 2001 and 2016. These shoes were amazing and carried me through many middle eastern hiking trips and tours. I actually still use some for yard work. Backs riped out even with use of a shue horn in 2 months, compney will not stand by product. I will never use product again
If this company was smaller and had their own customer service (I believe they outsource it) they’d care about what happens when you call. Bought some Merrell Snowmotion 6 boots at REI a few years ago. They basically sat in my closet until just last week, where I had to shovel snow off my sidewalk.
