Could not access account even though user/password were correct.

Yahoo prevented me from accessing my mail account even with correct username/password. Claimed I had not submitted telephone number and secondary email account. I was required to pay for premium support before they would grant access. This is extortion. User’s recommendation: Do not use this service for important communications.
