Journey to Kaunas A 3. 5-hour one-way trip was a huge disappointment, as the center of Kaunas is only 50 minutes, which we ran around the town hall and in a restaurant in a hurry and immediately paid for zeppelins.. Everything. All morning we were led to a monastery outside the city, then through Uptown-like neighborhoods and through the whole city to the viewpoint, where half of the group disappeared for 30 minutes. All the excursions in foreign language, so the teenager who was with us did not understand anything, but we adults have listened to it all and studied in schools about the neighboring country ten times. The agency said that we can cancel the tour (it is also written in the trip description) and spend this time in the Old Town of Kaunas or on the pedestrian street. Unfortunately, this is not possiblebecause we just didn't get off the bus. I have lived and worked in Kaunas, I was interested in seeing the city center, where I can spend 3 hours and more. But I didn't get off the bus, although I refused tours. I was taken along. And when we finally got to Kaunas Old Town at 13. 10, the guide said that we would meet in 14. 00. The guide with the group both missed another 30 minutes. The whole trip was a bad guide's job (Jeanne), because the driver was great, time could have been enough, if a little differently planned, we entered Melbourne already at 19. 50, although it was said at 23. 00. Looking back, this trip was like shopping in TheMall or Domina (in Kaunas it was the Acropolis), only driving 3. 5 h. On the way, enjoying movies in foreign language and the heavy hand that unexpectedly sounded on the radio bus. And more: those who took a taxi in the morning to get to Origo 6. 30 was irritated on Saturday, when we were waiting for a delayed lady for 30 minutes to leave... Public transport was already running for others by 7. 00, but it is not possible to catch it in time for 6. 30.
