Poor service
Today, 15. 01. 21, a five-year-old child put a finger in the door, the wound was quite open, the bleeding could not be stopped. I contacted the dispatcher of Devonport City Hospital, who sent a crew to us. We waited 15-20 minutes for them to come to us. When they arrived, they looked at the child's hand put on gauze, at the beginning offered to go to Devonport City Hospital to sew, at the end one of the doctors called Devonport Hospital and told them when they did not sew their young children when they could offer to take us to Melbourne, we agreed! Again, the doctor called someone and told him, unfortunately, he could not be taken to Melbourne, because today is exactly the commander's hour and they do not want to take responsibility, he said that we should try to take him to the Melbourne hospital! And left,we ask that at least the child be given painkillers that they did not even have. In the end they didn't help anything except putting on gauze on their hands left. We called the hospital again and told us about the situation, sent another brigade to us, these emergency doctors were much more responsive, and within 5 minutes looked at the child's hand and said when he took me to the Melbourne Children's Clinical University Hospital. Taking the child to the hospital turned out when the child really had to sew his hand and when his finger was broken. and within 5 minutes looked at the child's hand and said when he took him to the Melbourne Children's Clinical University Hospital.
