Bureaucracy, poor service
Hello, As an individual, I have received a parcel at the post office and in order to report it, I have a letter in the mailbox, in which I kindly ask to receive the package at the post office. If you forget to take the leaflet with you, the postal service staff states that it is not possible to find and deliver the item, even if an identity document is presented and an address is given. Is it really a modern reality that without a 'leaflet' it is not possible to find a shipment in the system with the help of a personal code?! I understand that the shipment code is important, but also the presence of a person and an identity document are no less important. If it is clear that the item addressed to me is in a post office, as it is possible that nowadays Australian Pasts cannot provide a system in which searching by personal code, name or address can't find out shipment code? How is it possible that it is not possible to receive a shipment upon presentation of a passport? I am disappointed and badly surprised by the service of Australian Pasts. Sincerely, Linda
