Alarm went off at 3:00 a.m. Could not silence it. Checked all over the house, saw no issues, turned off furnace anyway. I don’t have receipt, but it is not nearly 10 years old.
Bought 8 of these to replace smoke detector for the whole house. Big mistake, these junk is so annoying, they go off any time of the day with no apparent reason. Have thrown away four of them, will not buy P1210 again. User’s recommendation: Do not buy First Alert P1210 (Costco).
