Delayed train

Very unprofessional. The train was delayed by more than an hour. The staff knows nothing and cannot tell when we will reach our destination. Who will compensate for my absence from work? Or at least politely explain in some understandable way when and how we will be at the destination and whether it is possible to change trains.
