Battery hot

My batteries I just opened got extremely hot and needed to be placed outside because of it. They were purchased 3/1 and today is 3/1.
Ill tell you what happened. YOU ALREADY KNOW. MY NAME IS STEPHEN BOX. YOU REFUSE TO ANSWER MY EMAILS. YOU REFUSE TO ANSWER MY FACEBOOK MESSAGES. I BOUGHT NEW BATTERIES. I brought four energizer lanterns and when I went to use 3 of them the batteries dont charge and the input for one is defective User’s recommendation: After the handling of this matter it wasn’t very professional and I’m disatissfied.
Worse ever. After registering on energizer site and going through lengthy process to upload receipts, blah blah blah, I received an email stating that the five dollar rebate was deposited to my Venmo account. Compatable chargers

Customer service rep kept cutting. I could not hear well enough to hear 1/2 of what she said. Very dissappointing. User’s recommendation: Customer service get a lot better phone connection.
