Horrible customer service. Get lied to about when parts will ship. Dummy shipment confirmation emails without real shipment tracking. Unkind service, poor quality product and missing parts.
I decided to buy an office chair, looking for different budget class options for up to 60 €. Walking around similar stores that offer furniture and not only - I decided to stop at Optimus furniture, because I was attracted by the relatively good price for a relatively good chair. Complaints: 1) Unsatisfactory service. Arriving at the checkout, we had to wait - the seller had a phone conversation about the lack of some glass part... It should have been understood at that moment that it would not be good. But as they say everything comes with experience. Had to wait five minutes. When salesman Andis ended his "meaningful" conversation over the phone, pointing to his chair, I asked for a symbolic discount to which salesman Andis cut back so I could ask for a discount at a gas station or grocery store. I usually follow this practice - to ask for discounts after sports and from experience I can say that in half of the cases it is also possible to receive them. However unsatisfactory the seller's attitude was, he could already answer politely. 2) Requirement to sign the purchase agreement after payment of the purchase. OK good. I paid (with a card) for the chair and waited for the check to go to where I received the check, the bill of lading (which is of course normal) with the goods purchase agreement on the other side, which then also caused me displeasure. Okay - I picked up the contract and started reading - after the first two sentences I realized that it would not be today (it was Sunday evening) - I could not go into what was written. I ask the seller Andim to cancel the purchase and return the money. To which I received the answer that I have to sign the contract first, then I can get my money back, but next week... : ) After exchanging a few sentences, of course politely, I accepted the offer - I get my chair, Andis signs the contract in my place, adding a note, that I have refused to sign. Finally, after a long stiffness, I came to my chair. 3) Quality of goods. Arriving home, I unpacked my chair - the chair displayed in the trading hall was definitely read as the best. My chair was accompanied by a squeaking and crackling sound... This would be the least trouble, because I'm looking for a budget option. 4) Missing parts When the moment approached that I would finally put my newly purchased chair - I conclude that there is a lack of decorative linings (their lack can be seen in the attached picture). The next morning I called the store and surprisingly received a kind reply from the saleswoman (female representative) that I could come to the store and definitely find something. I was surprised and decided that what had happened was a misunderstanding due to Anda's bad mood. After weeks, again on Sunday, I went to the store for my missing details and what awaits me - Andis! : ) I received an answer that I have not signed the contract, so I do not have to pay. I decided to write this complaint so that people could read and think about whether, because of the slightly lower price, it is worth spending time and nerves to get or not get, as in my case, the furniture they need. I will also write an application for Optimus furniture itself with a request to provide the missing details, but reading the other complaints on this portal, the hope is small...
