Negligence
Last Saturday, I was in the countryside near Bendigo. I had to call an ambulance for a 76-year-old lady who was very ill. The ambulance doctor only measured the blood pressure and said that the lady was healthy. These doctors were 2 women. He asked why we called them at all, what we wanted them to do. They have already been there twice, this lady needs to be sent to the hospital and not to the hospital. Another set if we want to be taken to the hospital is to call a taxi. I started arguing against it because I don't understand how doctors can afford such treatment. In the end, they agreed to take her to the hospital. However, this lady who needed help could not walk and had to be carried. I ask them to take the lady to the car. The two women got in the car and closed the door, telling us to carry it ourselves, it was not their duty. They didn't even open the door. Only when I asked if I would have to put the car in the car through the window, the driver got out of the car, opened the door and helped take the lady to the car. It turns out that this lady had half a liter of pus in her gallbladder. How can doctors determine if a person is healthy by measuring only blood pressure!? As far as I know, no one in their workplace should treat people like this. How can such an important profession afford such treatment!?
