Unworthy and rude treatment of customers
My fiancé and I had booked a service from Arturs last year (2019) to provide guests with the opportunity to take a photo with a photo box. We booked in time because our wedding is in August and I knew that many will want to use this service and many will get married in August. Then, of course, came the pandemic and there are a number of restrictions, including the number of guests at the wedding. The number of guests currently (as of 12. 05) is 25 people. Our wedding was for 83 people. Logically, we cannot organize our big wedding and considering that all the fees for places, meals, etc. have to be paid now, we decided to cancel the wedding. Consequently, we also had to give up the services provided by Arturs due to this force majeure. Arthur refused to return the money,as such a clause is included in the contract. However, we tried to negotiate this situation with him, because we certainly did not want to give up our wedding celebrations and his services, but unfortunately the situation in the country does not allow us to celebrate our wedding as we wish. He was very incomprehensible, rude and unworthy, pointing out that we can celebrate with 25 people, which we think is completely unacceptable to suggest, because a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event you want. And it doesn't seem acceptable to me to choose only 25 out of 83 people now, because I see what Arthur told us and so he will be able to provide his service. Is it human at all? Arthur, as a “professional” in his field, should be much more accommodating to his clients in order to retain them so that clients would still want to use his services. But unfortunately it is not in his interests. As soon as we gave a good reason why we could not use his service, he involved his lawyer and said that the money would not be refunded. We are very disappointed and we cannot understand such an attitude at all. We recommend that you all be very careful when choosing his services. Of course, we definitely do not recommend choosing him.
