Refusal of help for a pregnant woman at 38 weeks of pregnancy!
2020. On January 1, at 7:00, I turned to the emergency department for help with acute ear pain, I drank paracetamol at night to alleviate the pain, because it is the only medicine that can be used at the moment, because I am waiting for 38 weeks. Arriving at the reception, I was greeted by a dissatisfied, tired nurse, unfortunately I did not read the word. Middle aged blonde woman. Asked what was wrong, I said in a trembling voice that my ear hurts a lot, that I have been tired all night, I have not slept, that I want to be examined. At my request - this "doctor" asked me - what help do you want here? You go to the pharmacy, no one will watch you here? Needless to say, I was shocked. I also saidthat all medicine should not-nurse's answer-read the annotations and perciet, because a pregnant woman is no different from an ordinary person! I was shocked by this vnk! I ask again, can't anyone really look and say what to their ear? The answer is no, no help will be provided here! Does the reception really help bums and drinkers out there of course? It was morning. Roughly, can a pregnant woman be sent away in recent weeks?! Trust in such staff 0, evaluate what staff you hire and who works in the reception department of Adelaide Regional Hospital, shame. I very much hope that you will resolve this case so that another new mother does not have to go through all this, incompetent staff and the face of the hospital in the reception department!
