Reimbursement
I had purchased AAS Bta Kasko car insurance policy. On January 12, 2018, I had an accident - while avoiding a collision with a dog, a vehicle I was driving and in which was insured entered a pile of icy snow on the side of the road. Respectively, the vehicle was damaged. In accordance with the requirements of the insurance contract, I immediately notify the Road Police and BTA. A BTA representative arrived at the scene within 30 minutes, where the scene and the vehicle were photographed. On January 13, I went to BTA (in Longsdale, Sporta Street 18) and wrote an application for indemnity in connection with an insured event. The application was accepted and another BTA representative repeatedly photographed the vehicle and noted the damage. In the course of these activities, he said that I would hardly receive any compensation, because this year BTA has already paid too much to its customers due to the difficult winter. I did not pay attention to these words and decided to wait for the official decision. Today, on January 27, I received a decision stating that I would not receive any compensation because I did not inform BTA about the event in time and it could not cause a pile of snow and ice. Damage actually suffered by my vehicle. After reading such a decision, I will call BTA and inform that I do not agree with it and ask how I can get acquainted with the case materials and receive their extracts in order to carry out additional expertise and submit a complaint. from CRPC. The BTA operator said that in order to get to the case file, I have to write an application, it can also be done by e-mail. I wrote the application. Due to this situation, I ask for your help and advice. Please tell me what steps I need to take to challenge BTA's decision and defend my consumer rights.
