Defective Item

I do not recommend buying anything from AZ Electronics stores! Can sell a defective product, the customer can prove otherwise very difficult. 30.08.2020 In the Dobeles AZ Electronics store (baznicas iela 14, Dobele, Dobele city, 3701), a television was purchased, and when we brought home at the unpacking, we saw a barely visible crack from the bottom left of the screen (approx. 30 cm). We delivered the product to the office of AZ Electronics online store, where we also filed an application for a damaged product. On September 18, 2020, I received a call where a representative of AZ Electronics announced that after diagnostics and watching the store's video, we have been denied the claim. Tv is a mechanical damage we have done when unpacking, which is completely wrong. Opposing, we received the answer that it is a mechanical damage on our part and if this damage had occurred in the store, then it would have been visible even when the TV was switched on in the store. The TV was in the shop window, turned on and packed in our presence. The TV leg had to be unscrewed before packing. For this activity, the store specialist asked to place it on the counter with the screen facing down. My husband did not like this operation, but trusting a specialist, the screen was placed on the counter in a thin protective film. According to her husband, this was a fatal act because the screen is huge (65`), heavy (27 kg), the edge of the screen is very thin, the matrix of the TV screen is fragile, and the crumpled protective film or some small object that was on it at that time The counters could create mechanical pressure. We came to this statement, finding a crack in the TV at home, researching the pictures of the instructions on the box, we saw that placing the TV with the screen down is not allowed unless it is packed on the side with foam liners. We consider that the information provided in the instructions was not observed during the packaging of the product, that when placing the TV with the screen facing down, foam linings must be placed on the sides. That was not done. This fact can be seen in the store's video. Upon a telephone request to obtain the video as confirmation, customer service representatives stated that the video can only be obtained at the request of the court. The fight is not over yet! We have submitted a claim to ptac (Consumer Rights Protection Center). We hope that Mk Trade Ltd. will reconsider our application for cancellation of the contract and refund or exchange of the product for an equivalent product. If not, we'll move on to the court.
