In July 2008, I gave birth to a healthy boy at the Melbourne Maternity Hospital. Already on the first day after discharge from RDzN, I found the temperature of the baby, as a result of which we were in the resuscitation of the Children's Clinical Hospital a day later and a week later the baby died. Diagnosis - streptococcus! The RDzN doctor stated that the illness could be from me, so my husband and I did all the possible tests. They confirmed that we are both healthy, so the baby was also born healthy. The virus infection is likely to have been acquired during childbirth, but this will still need to be proven. I would like to address all mothers who plan to go to RDzN - but think carefully if you are ready to risk your child's life by going to the above institution!
