Locked out and they recommended to buy a new one!

I got locked out and the battery inside the DVR for HD is already failing so I changed it and now the whole DVR is working fine. but the dates was changed to 1960’s and i forgot my password so i called the support and they will give you passwords for different dates but they couldn’t give... Seems like everyone is slamming Amcrest pretty bad.

I have had Amcrest cameras (2) for years and they have been great. They’re several years old but have not had much trouble with them. User’s recommendation: Yes , I recommend them.
