Attitude of a temporary social worker
A month and a half ago, I placed my aunt in the temporary care unit of the 1st hospital, because due to health it was not possible to leave the person alone and she could not take care of herself. Today I was faced with a situation where it was necessary to change the pamper, so I went to the nurse and asked if it would be impossible to do so. To which I received the answer: "30 minutes ago everyone had their pampers changed, I will not change anything. Did you check that the pampers really need to be changed?" In the affirmative, I received the answer "I will rest for a minute, I am tired. " as well as the note "Everything is tired of me". (Let's not take into account that other people cannot afford to take a break from their work to talk to colleagues and watch TV). As ten minutes had passed since the request, I decided to stand in the hallway and wait for someone to come. The nurse didn't even come to the side of the ward, and after a while (just like a teenager, even though she looked about 40 years old), she rolled her eyes and sat down at me, imitating me as I was standing and looking down the hall to her side. Other times I have heard from patients that we have to wait an hour or more to change a full pamper. We met the nurse, who stared angrily at the top and then left. Other times, walking away, you have had to hear the nurse scream at the patient, calling her a monkey. Sad and very unpleasant. All the more so if a person has to pay 25 dollars every day for such behavior.
