I went for an oil change and the tech gave me 2 options for the synthetic oil. He said 1 for rated for 5,000 miles and the other for 7,000. I opted for the higher priced for the extra mileage. As the other tech gave me the sticker for the future oil change, it said change in 3,000 miles. I asked him and said the other tech misspoke and it’s recommended for 3,000 miles and that he was sorry. I feel that was a trick to get a higher priced oil put in!
