The car was rated DEKERA, meaning it does not need any repairs. But the seller, We Buy Car said the car need a service. I was given a car without a PERMIT and we left on Christmas Day to Cape Town. But we were arrested on Christmas Day on N1 Bloemfontein because the car did not have a Permit. We to plead with Traffic Officers to release us so that can get a Temporary Permit. We had to drive back to Johannesburg at a Police Station in Lenasia to request a Temporary Permit in order to reach Cape Town. The Police at the Station did assist us with the Affidavit in order to continue with our journey. It was a serious inconvenience in that children were traumatized. I purchased the car at 69 000km and arriving in Cape Town , it was 70 000 km. The sales person at We Buy Cars told me to taken car for service at Mcarthy Toyota in Cape Town. We told Toyota that we discovered that the car BREAKPADS were warn out, the wipers didn’t remove the rain water and were making squeaky sound and the Aircorn was making noise. Toyota fixed the Breakspads and replaced the wipers, but did not fixed the Aircorn, especially the left one, it is still making an irritating noise. It needs to be fixed. Regards Dr MF Manthata
