Before closing I was promised there would be sod in the yard. Now 1 month after moving in there still is a yard full of sand and weeds and my ditch is leveled with sand. The excuse is to blame the weather, yet my neighbor who moved in 2 days ago, had sod placed in their yard. D.R Horton stated they "needed the sod to close the deal". So I guess that shows their priority to their existing homeowners. The weather has been beautiful here in southeast Louisiana for months. We've had a couple of thunderstorms but nothing different than any other year for this this season. I still do not have a date when my sod will arrive.
