Error with Third-Party (Windows 10) mail client access to my yahoo mails – Error code: 0x8019019a

I changed the password for my yahoo email. I did that on my phone (when I needed an attached document in my mail but could not remember my password). Following the change of the password, I have to effect the same change on my laptop - where I access my mail using the windows 10 mail client. The process goes through to the final stage, at which point I get the error reading 0x8019019a, and the mail client fails to update the password. Meanwhile, the alternate mail receives the notification that my "yahoo account was used to sign in to a 3rd party application on Mail and Calender" How do I resolve this issue? I prefer to have my mails in the windows mail client on my laptop for convenience and working offline.
