I was cooking popcorn on popcorn setting and was in the kitchen when I smelled smoke. I ran to the microwave and there were flames inside. I had to manually open the microwave and threw a damp wash cloth inside and salt to get the fire out. It was really hot. My house had a little smoke and fire alarms went off but no damage. Just a bad smell. I plan to see if Lowe's will refund or exchange but I feel just a little uneasy about this model now. Thanks, Sean Harris
