Lost 34000$ order and gave $300 in damages. Unethical!

A shipment with 34K worth of goods were supposed to be delivered to Septa office in Philadelphia but instead the consignment was delivered to MAACO, an auto body shop next to Septa. The entire delivery route was only 30 miles, hence a new hire in our company was not aware of the insurance. A claim was forced to be taken up by UPS and in the end they would only pay 300$ in compensation for a shipment that was misdelivered solely by their negligence. This too was only after I put up a fight for well over 4 months. While big corporations are helping business survive by providing help in terms of loans and grants, here is a company that killed a business that was using their services for well over 8 years.
