We purchased appliances from Lowes in 2016 and have an extended warranty. The LG Fridge needed service within the first year (ended up having it replaced) but the long and short of this email is that Stein had a ticket to service my fridge under Lowes/LG warranty. The DAY Stein were booked to service my fridge, (they apparently "stopped servicing LG")so they called to tell me that Stein would not be coming THAT DAY even though this was a MAJOR fridge issue and the appointment had been 2-3 weeks in the making! Stein HAD A TICKET, that was an approved service call……………for which they would be paid. Their business problem with the manufacturer should not have had an affect on my scheduled service call! I have owned and operated a business for 25 years. Obviously these types of "business transactions" in a small community will not help your profitability, never mind popularity. I do hope that this complaint will give pause when considering short term business decisions that affect your customer service. I have another current issue with my LG Fridge and Lowes extended warranty dept. who wanted to send a ticket to Stein this week. I have REFUSED to support this company as I do not believe they operate in the interest of their "customers". Just thought you should know.
