Service at Rivonia Customer Service Centre

On 26.04.2021 I went in the customer centre by Rivonia to have my phone checked as it was overheating and being a phone bought on 17.08.2020 it truely falls within the warranty period. The lady serving me asked for the proof of purchase and all I had was the contract that I had signed by the Telkom store which she refused to recognize well and fine that's protocol . But on the second thought I really felt she was playing with my mind and that irked me badly and I just decided I should leave the phone with Samsung till it is fixed cause already you have spent R20 000 on a faulty phone which the brand does not want to take responsibility. Nonetheless if you visit their competitor Huawei the actually give you an umbrella for the visit. So when I got home I called her to give my details and she said she will not fix the phone till I get that document. In this day and age Samsung cannot track a mobile phone that was produced less than a year ago i really felt if I had my way out I would change brands. The phone is a S20 which is overheating and its a known fact by Samsung that their phones were defective. I think as Samsung they should improve' Gadget details IMeI [protected]
