Hertz rental: no show of rental car

Hertz Gold No: [protected] Confirmation No: J7874424410 Please forward this to the right department. I cannot fully express my disappointment with Hertz this week. I am a business traveler (Gold status). On June 8th, I reserved a vehicle for pick-up on 6/27/21 at the Lubbock, Texas, airport. When my flight arrived I found a notice on the Hertz counter that the location closed as of 5/13/21 and (how gratuitously) that I could visit another Hertz location. I was left at the airport, with luggage and an appointment within a few hours, 60 miles away, with nothing but the confirmation of my Hertz "reservation". The reservation was apparently accepted even after the Hertz office was permanently closed. Not very good customer service, to say the least. I very well may be leaving Hertz after this fiasco on your part.
