I paid £100 for a Spotlight Ad, which promised me to be featured on the homepage of Gumtree and to be seen by many people. The ad turned out to have only a handful of views - significantly less than the £9.99 ads I had previously taken out, which I usually got at least one response from. I got no responses at all, which is not acceptable, and I want a refund for this terrible service which is sold as being effective. I am a very small business, and simply cannot afford to spend this money for zero return. Gumtree have ignored my complaints.
