I have been waiting for unemployment claim to be paid for 9 weeks. I was told three times that my Id verification had not gone through from the verification bureau to the labor dept. Finally a representative from the DOL helped me resolve the issue but now I am told it is taking at least 21 days and likely longer for the claims to be processed. This will likely result in the claim going unpaid for 3 months or longer. This has created extreme economic hardships for my family. Please advise what can be done to expedite payment. Thank you.
