They sold me a phone that wasn’t working

I bought a cellphone on the 27 February 2018 only to find out at home that the phone wasn't working, when i went back to them they were so rude they told me they are not going to give me back my money.my question is, is this how you treat all your customers? until today they haven't reply to me what should be done? they i went back again to check on how are things going they told me they will call me but they haven't until today
