We are very disappointed by the service we received from your airlines. Personally have back problems and that makes it hard to walk long distances. I have a compressed back disk and ruptured disks. My husband also has joint problems. We arrived at CLT from flight AA453LAX. We arrived at 6:32 P.M. I requested a wheelchair for myself and was told It would ready for me from Los Angeles AA453. We got off the plane there was no wheelchair on the ramp. My husband and I walked up the ramp and spoke with your AA agent. She looked at me and said in a very short and abrupt manner, that even if requested a wheelchair that it would be a very long time or nobody would come. She didn't want to offer help or call for a wheelchair. I was very upset with your agent. My husband saw an empty wheelchair by the wall. So he pushed me up the incline from gate 45 to baggage claim. No short walk for him. We waited for our baggage claim carousel and our baggage didn't" come down, the carousel had stopped. We waited, we know sometimes a take a bit before it comes down our carousel After a while husband, walked over to the customer claim counter for help. My husband said she was also short and difficult with him, told him to look at another carousel. Finally, he walked back and saw our baggage on a different carousel. We are older senior citizens, we like to fly American Airline since we have very few problems traveling with you. Another trip is coming in December of this year. We will have to rethink your service.
